GOSH! Run away Pink Lady® apples in Charity Festival

"The apple does not fall far from the tree" according to the ancient proverb, but on Thursday 5th June, four giant Pink Lady® apples ran as far away from the tree as possible - 5K away to be precise.
As a sponsor of Great Ormond Street Hospital's (GOSH) Family Festival of Running 2008, Pink Lady® had four runners in 3ft wide apple costumes bobbing around Battersea Park joining runners of all ages to raise money for the charity.
Whether running or watching, everyone had the chance to sample a Pink Lady® apple from a state of the art, specially designed white cart which has been created to keep the apples fresh and cool.
