Pink Lady® Makes It Possible winner finds her place in the universe
Pink Lady® recently caught up with Makes It Possible winner, Annette Oliver, who won a chic two-night getaway to The Hoxton, London, with a tour of the universe at the world-renowned Royal Observatory Greenwich. Annette, an avid stargazer, entered the competition to have the opportunity to take time out from the stresses and pressures of modern life, and to discover more about her place in the wider universe.
Last month Annette and her sister, Sarah, went to London and checked in at The Hoxton, Shoreditch. The hotel’s unique, contemporary rooms offer the perfect haven for relaxation and me-time, while its location in Shoreditch provides the buzz of the capital.
Having enjoyed exploring the Tower of London and its royal jewels in the afternoon, Annette and Sarah dined at the Hoxton Grill. Annette said: “We had a fabulous Hoxton Garden Gin cocktail and steak dinner. It was so good that we dined at the same restaurant the next day!”
The grand finale of the trip was a visit to the Royal Observatory in the beautiful setting of Greenwich Park. Annette and Sarah were treated to a tour of the universe at the prestigious planetarium and tickets to The Sky Tonight show, presented by a Royal Observatory astronomer. Annette said: “As an avid stargazer, I really enjoyed the visit to Greenwich and the planetarium show. We rounded off our visit to London with a boat trip to Westminster and a rickshaw ride back to the hotel.”
We wish Annette the best of luck with any future stargazing and hope she is one step closer to finding her place in the universe!
