Proudly supporting Divas on Wheels
We are pleased to be supporting Divas on Wheels for yet another year. The event is a sponsored ladies bike ride which will see hundreds of local women raising funds for Pilgrims Hospices, a charity local to our head office, based in Kent.
The bike ride will take place on Sunday 24th June and will see local women saddling up for a cycle around the Kent countryside, choosing either a 25 or a 50 mile route on quiet roads, meaning the fundraiser is appropriate for varying abilities. There will also be dozens of “Bike Heroes” on the ride, on-hand to lead small groups or help out with roadside repairs for any cyclists who need help.
The event is designed to be a fun and supportive ladies bike ride, which helps fundraise for Pilgrims Hospices – a registered UK charity providing specialist care to patients and families across east Kent.
We have supported Pilgrims Hospices’ cycling events for the past eight years, and we’re thrilled to be involved for yet another amazing event which is close to many people’s hearts.
We’ll be spurring on all the participants who’ll be hopping on two wheels by giving away apples at pit stops along the course, as well as providing all cyclists with a Pink Lady® goody bag on the finish line.
